Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour or gluten-free flour
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
  • 3/4 cup Pacific Foods™ Hemp Original Unsweetened Plant-Based Beverage
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons melted coconut oil (plus more to grease)
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  • Step 1

    Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a large mixing bowl. 

  • Step 2

    In a separate small bowl, combine hemp milk, egg, melted coconut oil, lemon juice and vanilla; add to flour mixture and stir until batter is smooth. 

  • Step 3

    Pour 1/4 cup of batter at a time onto a preheated and greased frying pan or griddle. Carefully flip when dough is bubbly, about 3 to 4 minutes on each side. Repeat with remainder of batter. 

  • Step 4

    Layer on your favorite toppings: maple syrup, berries, peanut butter, or coconut flakes. Enjoy!
