Mango-Habanero Hot Sauce

Recipe Ingredients:
  • 2 large carrots trimmed and cut into 2” pieces
  • 1 large mango peeled, pitted, and cut into chunks
  • 1/2 cup Pacific Foods Almond Unsweetened Original Plant-Based Beverage
  • 2 habanero peppers stems removed
  • 3 tbsp fresh lime juice
  • 2 garlic cloves chopped
  • 1 tsp fine sea salt
  • Place carrots in a steamer basket and steam over boiling water until very tender, about 10 minutes.
  • Transfer carrots to a blender and add mango, Pacific Foods Unsweetened Original Almond Plant-Based Beverage, habaneros, lime juice, garlic, and salt. Puree.
  • Taste and add more salt and/or lime juice if needed.
  • Store refrigerated up to 1 week.
