Sustainable farming is something we’re passionate about so we try to lead with a kind hand. That means protecting our farmland, raising animals humanely and treating the people we work with fairly.
In 2000, our founder and his family bought land in Oregon’s Willamette Valley and converted it to organic. By demonstrating sustainable farming techniques, we’ve helped other Oregon farmers follow suit. It’s also allowed us to develop a local food web.
We’ve shown farmers that “going organic” is now more cost-effective, something they’ve really come to like. We’re pretty sure the planet digs it too.
