National Waffle Day: Pumpkin Chai Waffles Pacific Foods

 

Today is National Waffle Day, and we’re celebrating with a stack of these delicious Pumpkin Chai Waffles. They’re quick, easy and so tasty! The pumpkin acts as a thickener, so you don’t need eggs. And that makes them great for vegan diets too. With a recipe this simple and delicious, you may want to celebrate National Waffle Day all year long.

 

 

Pumpkin Chai Waffles

 

Ingredients:

  • 4 cups waffle mix (homemade, gluten free or a pre-made mix)
  • 1 cup Pacific Foods Pumpkin Puree
  • 1 cup liquid chai
  • Cinnamon, to taste

 

Instructions:

  1. Pre-heat the waffle iron.
  2. Mix all ingredients together – batter will be thick. Add more chai if necessary.
  3. Pour into waffle iron, and cook until done. Enjoy!

 

 

We’re topping ours with some homemade jam and real maple syrup. Yummm.
