It’s always fun to gather with family and friends for the holidays, but accommodating all your guests’ dietary needs can be challenging. Whether you are cooking for someone with allergies, food intolerances or other special diets, Pacific can help you make delicious menu choices for one and all.
This week, we’ll be hosting a live chat about special diets and the holidays. From vegan to gluten free and healthy to decadent, we’ll cover it all! Join us at 11 a.m. PST on Wedneday November 20 with some of our favorite bloggers and dieticians. Lay all your dietary questions on us. Follow along with #PacificHoliday on Twitter.
In the meantime, here’s our Pacific Approved Holiday Menu, complete with allergen information. Be sure to check all of your ingredients to make sure they’re appropriate for the special dietary needs of your guests. Sometimes, gluten, dairy, wheat or meat could be hiding in things you least expect. All of our products and recipes can be sorted by allergens on our website.
Here’s a few Pacific products to make your holiday pantry special-diet approved.
Broths & stocks – They’re all gluten, dairy and corn free, with low-sodium, vegetarian, vegan, yeast-free options. They’re a great staple for making many holiday dishes.
Creamy Soups – They’re all vegetarian with options for vegans, low-sodium, gluten and dairy-free folks. Keep them on hand for post-holiday lunches, or add them to rice while they’re cooking for a tasty side dish.
Hearty Soups – These fit a range of diets and are sure to please everyone. You’ll find options for vegetarians, vegans, low-sodium, yeast-free, corn-free, soy free, gluten-free and dairy-free families.
Condensed Soups – They’re all gluten-free with the same great taste as traditional condensed soups (without preservatives or additives).
Meals & Sides – Our beans are all dairy, soy and corn free. Some are vegan/vegetarian, so they make for great protein alternatives!
Sauces & Purees – Nothing quite says the holidays like pumpkin puree or cranberry sauce. They should fit just about everyone’s diet!
Non-Dairy Beverages –They’re a great alterative for holiday dishes, whether you’re adding a splash to make vegan, dairy-free mashed potatoes or your whipping up a non-dairy hot toddy. Check your specific beverages to make sure they meet the allergens in your household. Hemp beverages are usually the best for fitting multiple allergens!
