Sometimes holidays take a little too much out of you. (We understand, we’ve all been there.) Having the ingredients on hand to make this holiday hangover smoothie, is the key to starting this New Year off right – no matter what!


You don’t have to have a hangover to appreciate this delicious smoothie is packed with a powerhouse of restorative nutrients:


  • Omega 3 & 6 from the Hemp Non-dairy Beverage & flax seeds
  • Potassium & electrolytes from the coconut water & bananas
  • Antioxidants from raw cocoa
  • Carotenes from pistachios (helps remove toxins)
  • Cayenne pepper (helps with blood circulation and stomachaches)


Holiday Hangover Smoothie Recipe


  • 1 ½ cups Pacific Foods Chocolate Hemp Non-Dairy Beverage
  • 6 ounces coconut water, frozen into ice cubes
  • ¾ cup raw, unsalted pistachios, shelled
  • 1 frozen banana, cut into pieces
  • 2 tablespoons ground flax seed
  • 1 tablespoon raw organic cocoa powder (unsweetened works too)
  • ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)


  1. Blend until smooth. (On low, if indeed this is the cure for what ails you)
